30 years of junk was finally trashed to give birth to a proper "Crib" for my cars. Garage size: 20' x 23'6" 2 car lifter (10'-6" ceiling height required) is 25 years old, but sadly the company is no longer in business. Right side floor pan removed to accommodate SUV height. Floor tiles snap together and require table saw cuts around footings. Red and Yellow checkerboard with gray in walk-around areas. Tiles continue up the stairs and were also used on selected wall locations - www.floorjunkies.com Red metal cabinets by Geneva, excellent! - http://www.carguygarage.com/ Black Ferrari flag stretched on luan and hides water heater. Mysterious blue balls are racquetballs suspended on monofilament for parking guides. One of the most convenient features is the wall mounted retractable electrical cord reel - Sears Lighting is T1 fixtures, under cabinet halogens and additional hi intensity lights can be hung on the lifter for indoor detailing and waxing. White workbench top and backboard are formica recycled and customized from kitchen remodeling. Total cost: $3,500 not including labor which was contributed with sweat equity and a dozen trips to Home Depot. I realize the strong color combination is not for everyone, but I must say the garage gets more attention from folks driving by than my Ferrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice work Ron! Thanks for the info too. Next time you're bored, and w/ nothing to do, while in Knoxville, give me a call... It's so inspiring...think I'll go piddle some myself. I'd love to have that!
Once again Alex... Congratulations...this is one of the most beautiful collection i´ve seen...in pics of course, too bad i know...hope one day i have the chance to see all your cars Jorge
Excellent collection. I do like the favorable conditions in the desert to preserve cars longer. Lot less moisture and less likely a chance for rust (carbon fiber never had that problem, but you know what I mean ). Was that one of the reasons you keep your collection there?
Looks very nice and functional. Thanks for the tips and postings where the items come from. Looks to me that someone spends alot of time in their garage.
Great collection!!!! The essentials, minus the Enzo. Just wondering, how often do you get to have a drive in them and which is your favorite?? The 599 would make a great daily driver! Congrats again! Robert
If you were the owner of that black enzo living in Monaco, I am pretty sure you would not care about the dings...
