I've had it for weeks and finally got a chance to do something more than go to the video store: http://trapster.net/430pm.html I'm thinking this is going to be a "high mile 430"!
Doesn't come across in the vid , but that was several thousand feet of vertical drop (which is why the engine wasn't working - sounds way different going up). This is the first car I've owned (after several Porsches incl GT3, Elise, C6, RX8, Z06....) that hasn't had massive brake fade by the bottom. That mountain melted the caliper bolts off the Turbo, destroyed the rotors on the RX8, and the GT3's fronts (non-PCCB) would make this horrendous howl by the end. ... this car did it without a peep and the front wheels aren't even dirty with that black brake stuff!
FWIW, this road has claimed many lives and injuries. It is an exciting drive but must be respected. Motorcylist have borne the brunt of the injuries.
