I'm looking to get some new floor mats for my 328. I don't think I really want fancy horses or words but I would like the highest quality mat available now. Any suggestions on where to get some good ones?

I think Ricambi America (sponsors link) has nice plain ones.

I just bought some Lloyd Mats. Very well made but they came with a note saying they make them slightly oversized for better protection. I think I would have prefered them about a little closer to stock size. Did cure my Italian Cruise control problem I had with my old mats.

If you want a plain, but plush mat, you want the Lloyd Heavyweight mat. They are only about $140 for a pair. Ricambi America carries the standard Ultimats, but I am sure he can special order the Heavyweight mat. I had my Heavyweight mats in tan for 3+ years and 19k miles, and they are only now about ready for replacement. Daniel at Ricambi feels the standard Ultimat style will probably hold up better under use and clean up better as well, when needed, due to the shorter nap. The deep, plush mats tend to hold and retain dirt and stains better, and I would tend to agree. If you don't put that many miles on your car, go for the Heavyweight.

I bought Lloyd mats for my 328 the day I picked it up. Back then, you could still get them customized, so mine have the scuderia shield on them. 6.5 years and 20k miles, they still look good.

Lloyd mats are well made, Jim. Mine are 25+ years old and have held up well:
