Sweetness. Boy, does the BBi look every bit as contemporary as the cars next to it or what? Graceful and classically swoopy but with enough bits of flair -- knockoff wheels, an aggressive rear deck, steep windshield rake, NACA ducts -- to add some juice.

What size/brand tires are you running?

Hmmm. Rears are 2.6% smaller OD than stock, fronts are nearly 4% smaller. I sure wish they made tires in 275/45-17 and 245/50-17!

    Steve,

Gene asked me to contact you because you are known to be the Boxer Guru. I just bought Gene`s 1984 Boxer BBi and he currently has these gold/silver two toned Cadillac rims on the Boxer. I ordered a 18in by 8 fronts and 18in by 10in rears F40 rims to install on the Boxer. What do you think about installing the 19 or 20 inch rims instead of the 18 inch rims. What is your advise? Would you happen to have any pictures of any Boxers with 19 or 20 inch rims. Ray from Ray Wheels advised me that I should not go any wider than 10 inch for the rear and 8 inch for the front. Thank you.

    Gus C.

the wheels look perfect! i agree w/ buzz to the extent that the overall o. d. is a bit smaller but the pics don't really expose that...they look fantastic!!!

i think this is a great wheel option.

Everytime I see a pic of this black thigh silver beauty I drool, the red interior is just way cool Steve. Amazing how contemporary the BB still looks beside the more modern motors too.
