A little different look for the F430. One-off BBS racing wheels...19x9" fronts and 19x12" rears. The weight savins is amazing...-7 lbs/wheel front and -2lbs/wheel rear (w/345 30ZR Michelin PS2s). Caps were hand made.

BIG thanks to Scott and Craig @ BBS' Racing Division!!

Very nice. Are these forged LM from BBS? What are the offsets?

Very nice. Although I think there is a little too much going on around the outer edge of the rim. Maybe lower it a bit?

    Very nice wheels.

We are a BBS Motorsports distributor and have done these on a 360 for a customer a few years ago.

    Great wheels!

    Congrats!

Very, very nice. For my personnal taste I would paint the center wheels in the same black of your car and lower it. And this would be a very hot 430!

The guys at BBS cut me a big break...under $10 k with PS2s. The good news is that the project has encouraged BBS to develop after market wheels for Ferrari applications. There is one set that is presently being developed for the US market...a fantastic looking one piece. I'll keep all posted...

Thanks for the feed-back. I agree...I'm going to lower it ~1-2" next month.

I went back and forth on the center caps. I actually built a second set with carbon fiber discs and the chrome horse. I'm also planning on lowering the 430 ~1-2" next month.

The centers are custom made...forged aluminum. The fronts are off-set +32 mm and the rears are +48 mm

for some reason the Lip area makes the rims look like 16" wheels? Maybe I need to see them in person..pic not doing them justice.

What size are the tires? the rear profile looks too tall. 40 series?

I'm with you ... the design seems to detract from the appearance you'd expect from the size of the wheel. I think it has to do with the way the lip design carries over to the outer edge of the center portion of the wheel thus decreasing the size of the center portion of the wheel making it look smaller.

    Tipo ,,Agreed.

The wheel center is a 17" center with a step lip design. This is why the center looks so small. For racing applications this works because we are after the strongest possible wheel with the least amount of weight. Small center=less weight.

For street cars today most customers want that big center like you find on a HRE or other 3 piece wheel.

There is no doubt about it these are great wheels, we run them on our Speed GT World Challenge cars and have several Porsche customers that use them for track wheels.

Hope that helps shed somelight on the topic.

You're right. The tyre size mentioned was 345/30/19, therefore it's a 345mm wide with aspect ratio of 30%. Hence it's the same (+/- manufacturer's tolerance) sidewall height as a correspondingly sized 295/35/19 tyre which is 295mm, aspect ratio of 35%. Sidewall height is tyre width times AR, divided by two.

Then again, the 'gumballish' nature of the extra-wide tyres makes for a certain 'Optical Illusion' of higher profile, exarcebated by the design of the stepped lips of them gobsmacking BBS one offs...:) Beautiful car and the new wheels compliment it nicely. BBS & Ferrari, 'nuff said..

Any idea if they will fit over the rotors on a scud?
