    This is an advance/expert problem. I was lucky enough to find a "new" mirror switch from BMW '85 for my '84 QV only to realize that the metallic jaws biting into the 6 prongs connector piece are loose(and easy to break, don'task) Now, does any one know what kind of metallic female connector I should be looking for or if I should change the whole plastic connector or even if anything close to that even still exist? Thanks!

    You can purchase the electrical contacts and plastic housing from BMW, but it will take a parts guy that knows his stuff to find the part numbers. They are not listed in the regular parts catalogue/computer. They were listed in the service bulletin for the BMW electrical kit I and II.
