It is completely dead. I charged the battery and that didn’t work. Thinking I had a dead battery, I changed the battery and it is still completely without power. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciative.

Battery disconnect (part #41) switch turned off?

Loose or corroded connections at battery/ground terminals?

Can you clarify "completely without power"?

    1. headlights do not work (with key "off") and when I turn the ignition key "on" there's no dash light activity, or

    2. headlights work (with key "off"), but when I turn the ignition key "on" there's no dash light activity, or

    3. headlights work (with key "off"), and when I turn the ignition key "on" there's is dash light activity, but it won't start, or

    4. something else?

Certainly, as a first act, try opening/closing the battery cutoff switch a few times to "wipe" the contacts, but give a little more detail please.

I learned years ago from my friend who can fix anything that when an engine won't start to first look at the battery then gradually work your way to the solenoid and starter motor. It is important to tell the people you are seeking advice from if you can hear a clicking sound in the engine bay. That sound indicates that the solenoid is getting some juice but not enough to engage the Bendix and spin the engine. Always an important clue.

there was no clicking sound or electrical power going anywhere in the car. It seems like after i turn the disconnect switch "on and off" it worked fine.:p
