I was 21 when I finished my Associate's Degree. I'll be 24 tomorrow and I'm going back for my Bachelor's Degree in January. I am majoring in Business Administration. :)

I followed the 5-year plan. In the same time span, a friend of mine had his MBA--undergrad in 3 years, MBA in 2!

Seems that we never appreciate how good life is until we look back on the past, huh?

    23.

2 BS’s at the same time, and a bunch of other useless certs and crap that were completed along the way. Thinking seriously about going back and finishing one out to a Masters.

Never had the time to get one. Didn't need it when I started working. Didn't need it when I stopped working.

A guy I met in university who was in year 6 of a 3 year bachelors degree (they have that in Canada) said:

    "Education is not a race".

    I got mine at 24.

I had 2 friends in undergrad (UWO) who did 3 year BAs in 7 years!

Friend: "Baby, I'm in 4th year"
Me: "Dude, for the fourth time around!"

My story is that I won the lottery in 1970, which is why I don't gamble to this day. When someone expresses surprise about this, I explain that I actually won the draft lottery. A lot of my buddies didn't. I'm glad that it worked out for you.

I suggest you do a 4 year plan and then in the 4th year start going part time and extend it to 5 or even 6. Or do a month or so of traveling.

I just graduated (22) in 5 years, working since August. It's fun, but I would love to be back in school, waking up at 10, going to class at 10:30 and going back home at 2 and calling it a day :)

23 when I graduated as a BA in Design. It took me a little longer as I worked a year inbetween for experience.

There is a long story associated with my military service that reads like a lottery winner. Maybe in another thread.

Come on, I dare ya! After all, this is the Internet. You know, that place where everything is true and everybody is an instant expert in everything.

Seriously, somebody has to keep these young bucks in line.

I've been thinking about that even since I read it. It really put the hook in me. Those are the words I too now live by!

19: BBA in accounting. Law School was another story, took 8 years, graduated when I was 27, admitted when I was 28. Got married in the intrim, worked for Arthur Andersen, enlisted, had to cheat on the medical, found out the next year that I would have had a very high draft number, but I think the time was worth it.
