    Happy New Year!

Glad to see 2007 in the rear view mirror.....myself.

Looking in the back yard, it seems the Midnight fireworks burned up the lawn furniture.....

    *shaking head sadly*

No joke, in San Antonio it was very dry. The wind picked up, and many fires began to blaze in the dry brush. There were a couple fires right down the road in my area, but thankfully the fire department showed up and put out.

They are MY chairs, from the Hospital, her vintage metal clamshell stuff was fine...LOL!

Yea, our house was 2 houses down from one of the brush fires. The fire came within 1 foot of our neighbors gate, i have pics, ill post them later. We were very grateful everything was handled. Everyone in the neighborhood tried to use their jackets and water hoses to stop the fire from getting close, if it wasnt for our neighbors, our next door neighbors house would have been gone and possibly ours.

I'm glad to hear that everything turned out alright. Times like that are pretty scary, just thinking about how much worse it could have been.
