Selling my 599 after only 5 Weeks of ownership

Good news! BTW: Will factory collect be an option in April? I am asking as, per today, factory collection is not possible (they are preparing for the production of the new model)...

 

congrats, but what does factory collection actually mean? I am not in the habit of ordering new Ferrari´s....

 

Factory collect usually includes a site tour and picking up the new car at the factory

 

Congratulations. I hope they will do the same with mine. That would reduce the wait from two years to one and a half. Great choice on the factory collection. This was a must for me as well. I can't wait taking her home with a stop at the French Rivièra and its challenging roads before heading home on the highway.

 

Yes, factory collect is a great thing! Unfortunately, my dealer told me that it will not be possible in case of my 599GTB (due in February) :-(

 

Congrats Mike. It is always pleasant to hear that you have to wait less then expected. But my dealer told me to get sure one more time if the factory collection is possible due to new prodution line building. So make you dealer get thing checked one more time. By the way, have your dealer told you why waiting time is cutted down for half-year? Best.

Well ... both color are nice on this car ! (but I give a little + for the rosso monza with beige cartier interior and challenge wheels ... but it is better if I stop dreaming now ).

 

Jack, I wasn't expecting the new one until November 2008 so I bought a used one in the meantime, the delivery has now been brought forward

Wish you confirmation of factory collection. Really great even. If you have good connections with F-dealer, 599 GTB is offering great possibility to enjoy car and to sell it for more bucks that have purchased it for. Especially when you have new 599 GTB on the way. By the way what specs you selected for you April car? Will you go with Rosso Monza? Or still Black? Best.

Rosso Monza always was very expensive paint option and very hard to repair. Thanks for more information about how they paint cars in this color. Do not know this detail before read it in your post. Best.
