What does everyone do to keep their paint in outstanding condition? If you personally do the work, what is your process? If you have a "pro" do it, how often do you have them work on your car(s), and what process do they use?

    Cheers,

Same here, though I just drive mine on weekends in San Diego. So once or twice a year for a major professional detail job. Then my philosophy is to touch the paint as little as possible with anything beyond a soft cotton cloth, and to keep the car dry except for quick detailing.

The crew at Symbolic Motors here in San Diego does a great job - dual-orbital buffer, carnauba liquid.

I do a quick detail (Griot's Speed Shine or Meguiars Quick Detailer) after every drive, and wash the wheels and lower metalwork every couple of weeks.
