Ever watch "Victory by Design?" Gary's car deserves to be on the show, not only for condition, but with this system's sound, it would make for GREAT motorsport TV. As 'MotorTrend' magazine's article way back in the late 70's stated on acceleration with the 512BBi:..."as you hear the sound of ripping silk, you'll see the ass drivin nazi slot car disappear in your rearview mirror[sic]."

Too cool! And Gary, you're welcome, it was a pleasure to help you.

I thought you already had a Larini exhaust on that beast. Am I wrong or is this an updated Larini part?

    Hey Dan,

Yes- you are correct. My Boxer has had a Larini exhaust in it for a few years now. This is a brand new "single canister" system that they custom built for me.

This new one is crazy loud, compared to the old one.

Maybe you remember my old 308 QV with the Tubi and test pipes.... ?? It's kinda like that, except now it's a flat 12! :)

Yep, they list both Euro & US spec mufflers for your car and also test pipes, in their online catalog (www.larinisystems.com).

PS: John- yes that video is my old 308QV. It was from the Club's very first dyno day event.
Dyno Day is coming up again at Carb Conn. in Kirkland,WA on March 8, 2008.
