    Firstly, I appreciate everyone's help - this site has been an incredible resource. As of yesterday at ~ 4pm EST, I became the owner of a 1983 308 GTS QV - red on tan with the boxer trim - bella! - found it in Florida and got Timmy Stanford's blessing so it's headed this way - should be here in a day or so - pics will follow.

    Congrats!! I remember the excitment when my 328 was on its way to my house from Denver. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine. Don't forget to take pictures while it is being unloaded, during the excitement I forgot. Really wish I had.

    Congrats on your first Ferrari!

    My '83 GTS QV arrived here from CT on the 2nd...see profile pic. It'll be at Norwood Performance for a week or so to get some minor items repaired, Tubi exhaust installed, and a good detailing.

    I'm very happy with the car, and needless to say, can hardly wait to get it home.

    The 308 is #2, and I'm glad I made a significant model and era change from my previous 330 2+2...so many Ferraris out there, so little time left.

    Congrats on the 308...if Tim says it's good to go, you can bank on it. I'm in Charleston, SC with my 308, so come on down. My job's regional office is in Raleigh...maybe I'll make it up there.

    She came in yesterday ~ 5pm - everything looks good...went out on a couple of test runs today, walking my way up into 4th (skipping 2nd @ 1st) - starting around 5500 rpms it sounds/feels absolutely amazing!! - I always wanted a Ferrari, but had no idea. I'm getting the oil changed + once over at Apex Vintage on Thurs., then I'll be set for some extended drives this weekend. Pics are on the way. Thanks again to everyone. Hope to see some of you guys soon.
