Steering Wheel Fix

I think the first thing I'd do is talk with someone who actually has repaired these to see what's worked before . I'm not sure if this really can be fixed with glue or not... I assume it's leather?

IF (and that's a big IF) you were going to use a glue, something that sticks extremely well, and remains pliable when dry, is black wetsuit cement (like used to repair a scuba wetsuit). You might be able to put some of this UNDER the covering. The way it works is to apply some to both surfaces to be attached together, let it dry a bit until tacky, and then stick the pieces together. Be careful, it is messy out of the container (you can get it at a scuba shop).

I don't think it would stain or hurt anything, but I'd definitely recommend trying some first on some similar area or materials to practice first, and see if it holds and works well for you. However, I'd still first defer to someone who has fixed these, before trying to use this method. Let us know what you come up with. Good Luck!

The best glue for scuba wetsuits I have ever found is called Aquasure. Beats everything else I have ever tried hands-down. But it dries shiny so be careful.

I have two Nardi/Ferrari steering wheels I want recovered. Nardi USA failed to return my emails, so fails to get my business. Anyone have any suggestions who can recover them back to original spec?
