    Funny story until the part about giving it to a buddy. You say you've been sober... so obviously you know how debilitating an addiction can be but then you give it to a friend to empower their addiction?? Not to be a killjoy ass hat but I can't think of a lamer thing to do.

    FWIW, I'd have the rest of the car checked out.. better now than when the K9's smell something in the wheel well.

    Unfortunately, I don't know anything else about it. Only record I have of it is the first time I saw it. Have you checked CarFax to see if they have anything on it...? I guess the car didn't come with any history, huh....? Nothing in the manual about previous owner(s)...?

    CODE, try calling the Ferrari Dealer stamped in the service book at the previous services. I have done that with other cars, and after a little smoozing they coughed up the name of previous owner. Then google the name in the general area of the dealership. All they have to do is check their dealership computer. You can also ask for a copy of service records from previous dealership. I just mailed a copy of title and they printed off a copy and fed exed it to me. Often times that will even have name and address of customer. If you work the service guy right he may divulge the info. I have never tried this, but, if you are really hard up to find a previous owner I wonder if you could file a FOIA request with the state DMV of previous registration listed on car fax? They might redact personal info however. just a thought

    How many owners on this car?
    Is possible it wasn't the last owner but one aprior? That secret spot may have had the secret cocain for many years without seeing by any person.
