No, but I buy every issue from the newsstand. I know, not the best economic decision.

I just subscribed to it, via the link, and I'm kinda ashamed of myself that I have not been a subscription member being the Fcar nut I am.

    PS,
Go to the link provided and you get a free trial issue!!

I've been a subscriber from the outset; in fact they've published 3 of my letters. Good writing (for the most part), reasonably priced, and less "stuffy" than all the other Ferrari journals.

I subscribe to Forza and have accumulated every issue since #16. The articles are quite superficial and short. An entire issue can be read in an evening. Some of the historical articles are interesting and the market values are useful, but to say it is a great magazine is an overstatement.

The fact is that Forza is simply a useful catalogue of parts suppliers, insurance brokers and other assorted Ferrari service industries via the voluminous advertisements. It seems to have a lock on the Ferrari magazine market and advertisers and so doesn't try to improve the level of journalism.

Agree completely w/ above. I buy the occasional issue if it highlights or does a "buyer's guide" for a particular model I'm interested in, but IMHO it's otherwise an overpriced and overrated magazine.

I said no but I'll qualify... I do purchase it anytime I see it on a newsstand. I have had magazine subscriptions in the past and I noticed that I "value" the ones I pick up off the newsstand more, and spend longer amounts of time reading.

When they come to my mailbox automagically, I don't usually give them more than a cursory glance because I think I'll "get around to reading" them.

Also Chris I am guessing you are thinking of advertising your business there... I ALWAYS pay attention to watch ads in Forza, regardless of whether they are in my budget or not. :D Especially "racy" looking ones

I agree with this. I let my subscription lapse a few years back, because the features were light on info, the 'news' sections were horribly outdated, and it's not all that interesting to read stories about the new car when it's been discussed online for the past 3 months. The icing on the cake is when they reran the same multi-issue series of 'price guides' recently with updated prices, just to fill space.

If the internet didn't exist Forza would be invaluable, but former does and the latter isn't.

I have every issue also. If I have to stop any of my other car mags, Forza will always stay with me.

    Yes.

the "news" is so dated that I read them when I can't go skiing or drive the Fcar. I like to review the previous F1 season. I also like the pictures, especially of those rare cars I will probably never get to see in person.

    Forza Ferrari!

I subscribe, but I think some aspects are a joke. The top ten series was a waste and the buyer's guides are an absolute waste of time. They always just say "Buy the newest and best model you can afford" Thanks for the great advice guys.... jk!

I agree. I bought the first issues but stopped because it couldn't match the quality of Cavallino magazine for classic content. Now I recently subscribed in spite of all that because its so cheap with the dollar exchange rate that it doesn't hurt to try it out again. It's also the reason I subscribed to R&T and it's nice to have a different (American) automotive view.
