Has anyone replaced their Daytona seats. I dont love them and would like the race seat that they stopped shipping.
How much to order them through the dealer, if you can?
I know they will be high priced.
    Any good alternatives being used.
Dont get wrong, the daytona's look great but no neck support.
I prefer the support and look of a more track oriented seat.

I know there is another thread on this I posted a while back. The racing seats by Ferrari are cool but not electric. The racing seats that come with the 599 that are electric are amazing in both comfort and style. I wonder if you could order them as parts and put them in your car? There are also aftermarket companies that claim their racing seats to be lighter and better, but not electric. Though I am not overweight, I found the seats to be very narrow. I am 5'11 and weigh 210, with broad shoulders.

They dont need to be electric for me. Once you set the position thats it.
I really like race seats that used to be an option on the 430.
I need Cuio. Anyone want to swap. My Daytona's are sweet looking with the black inserts.
I would kick some $ also

I never get why people like power seats. They take forever to adjust, and add unnecessary weight and mechanical complexity.

what I don't understand is why Ferrari doesn't add memory to the power seats. It won't add extra weight and could be designed to automatically move the seat back when the key is removed. It would save a lot of wear and tear on the side of the seat where they all show damage from squeezing into the car.

Get into the habit of lifting your butt over the bolster when getting in and out of the car.

the problem for me and probably for many others is that in the garage there is not enough room to fully open the long door of the f430. So without moving the seat back you need to squeeze in and out and its very tough not to rub on the side bolster of the seat.
