Proper way to get a 308 QV onto a Flatbed

To be more specific, If you feel around under the front passenger side, under the air dam, and back in a ways, you will find a hole in the underbody section of the air dam. There is a steel tow loop to hook to. Otherwise just hook up to the suspension arm. I dont believe the tow loop is intended to secure the car down to a flat bed.

 

The tow hook is in an oval opening as they say in the pan of the car, it may have a cover over it..

As noted most guys I have used chain hook to the A Arms or nylon strap thru the wheel itself.....

They also have to place some wood lumber at the tires usually to avoid contact with front spoiler or exhaust tips at the rear, go slow and keep an eye on both ends!

 

--- what Tex said. Most of the flatbed drivers who towed my car used 2x4 lumber pieces to assist the front wheels make the transition from flat pavement to the bed of the ramp. Your spoiler should be firmly attached to the subframe along the back edge - if it isn't, be VERY careful. I had the tow hook pop out of mine once, and the flatbed driver started to pull my car up the flatbed ramp BY THE SPOILER instead of the steel loop....he bent the $%#!!! out of it, my 308 looked like it was pregnant from the front.

 

They may also need to put 2 small 2x2's to drive up onto the ramp so as not to scrape the front.
