Does anybody make a light weight flywheel for a F355? Did the challange cars have one? If lightened the flywheel would it be difficult to get the car going from a stop?

The only difference a lightened fly wheel made for me and my Honda, going from 18.5 lbs down to 8.4lbs, is that I had to rev my car up a little higher (+600-1000) rpms to get moving. I don't consider it a significant difference, but my car doesnt have sound deadening and my clutch is more of an on off switch.. so your mileage may vary. If you want your revs to increase and decrease faster, do it, otherwise stock is more daily driver friendly. As an additional note, bumper to bumper traffic is kinda a pain with a lightweight flywheel.. people might think you are trying to race them or something, when you really just need to rev up the car so you dont stall it. Granted, I have 4 less cylinders than you do too, so the rpms might not be affected quite as much.
