I believe this should go in the "Ferrari Discussion (not model specific)" forum.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3

To answer your question, I am undecided. I have clearly never owned a Ferrari, or yet even sat in one, so it's a very tough decision. If you were to give me, lets say the 348 (V8) vs. 512BBi (V12) I'd have to go with the astonishing 348, because it is that of my personal preference.

Engines sizes don't really make a difference for me, as long as they sound nice and go fast. With Ferrari though, thats never a worry :).

    Just my thoughts,

    Andy

    This is a tough choice.

As far as the V8 goes F40, 288GTO and 348 for me and V-12 well the F-50, Enzo and Testarossa ;P man this is a tough one.

Do I have to choice one?:D

V8 David as it's much more affordable than any V12 Ferrari but the V12 is where Ferrari's root's are.

Our language barrier is making David's post's sound alittle wierd but he's trying!

I like the 8 because it powers the sports cars now -- 3x8, 288 GTO, F40, 355, etc. The 12's are mostly for the cruisers.

BTW, some of Ferrari's successful racers were 4's and 6's, but those are rare, museum-type cars now. Even the 206/246 are getting up there in price, having passed their V12 stablemates.

My first preference is topless regardless of engine.

V12 topless as I understand it in "modern" times would be an F50 and a 575 SuperAmerica. Either would be fine with me. But I have no problem with the 360/430 Spider. Beautiful cars in every way. And fun to drive. ;)

    V-12.

Why would anyone take a V-8 or less if one could have a V-12?

    :)

    12 cylinders or walk
