My 355 has the suspension light on which means there must be an issue with the shock actuator.

Can anyone tell me how to find out which one it is without having the computer diagnostics hooked up to the car??

The rears take less than 2 minutes to inpsect. Just remove the clip and look inside to see if the gear is mangaled. 50/50 chance that you can identify it in less than 2 minutes.

Have you turned the key off and on several times without starting for some reason? This will set off the light as well.

I don't know of a way to find out which specific one is bad without a computer but the rear ones are very easy to get to and the front ones aren't too bad. I would start with the rears by removing them and check for dirt and make sure the gears are intact and move freely. To remove them simply take a flat blade screwdriver and slowly pull the spring out from underneath the actuator. Be very careful to keep your finger on the spring as you pull it out because it WILL try to fly off. To reinstall them, put the spring back in it's slot and snap them back in place. When you put them back on just know that you need to drive a short distance before the light will go back out. If it remains off then remove the upper trunk in the front and do the same with the front actuators.

On my car, I've never had an actuator go bad but I have them get some dirt in them and needed removal/cleaning.

The metal gear on the shock that the actuator controls could also be broken. If so this would also set off the suspension light. If so, it can be repaired. To test the actuator, leave it plugged in, remove the actuator off the shock (remove the cir-clip below the actuator), once removed have the car started up and look to see if the actuator gears turn. The cycle from left to right on engine start.

i have the same problem and after opening the red thing or actuator it appeared that a small part inside is broken. Is there anyway it can be fixed ? I was told I have to replace the whole part which costs about $1,000.

There are repair kits periodically on ebay. I believe the actuator is the same as a late model Corvette.
