Hi, I have a 1991 348Ts, I took the battery out cause I thought it need it to be charged, I have it on a tricler charge but the last time it stalled on me right at my driveway and I had to jumop it in order to get it back in the garage. Well I thought all was well, I took it out and once again I had to jump start it at the end of the event, we went to a friends house for dinner, but when I was ready it started with out any problem. The only thing my clock and heater and air on console is not lighting up no LEDS, I have checked the fuses one by one, cause the manual does not tell you exactly which is which. So I am at a loss??, what can be happening, I tried running the test on the site where by you push #13 to see if the diagnostics comes up but nothing. Can anyone help?, thanks, arl. email me at [email protected].

Alfredo, my friend, you need to be educated about the mysterious "hidden fuse"!! There are LOTS of threads here in the archives on this subject. Ferrari does not bother to tell you that the fuse for the climate control system (also operates the clock) is not in either of the two main fuse panels. It's hidden under the lining of the trunk. And besides the possibility of burning out, like a normal fuse would do, it is also quite common for the fuseholder to simply melt from the current flow.

You can use the "search" function up above to read about "hidden - fuse - 348", to find the fuse and learn about replacing the holder with more substantial unit.

It's also at least possible that you have a bad connection on the back of the climate control panel (easy to get at), but it's most likely that famous fuse.

Do you know about "re-initializing" the Motronics after the battery has gone dead or has been replaced?
