Haha you know things are insane when crazy Ron Pratte has the "WTF is this guy bidding?" look on his face.
No offense, The word Vette and Ferrari should not be in the same sentence. Once again, GM follows.......Never leads.......1 Million, good for the United Way.......That's it.... Clear engine cover, wonder where they got that idea?????
Jay was really talking the Vette up and Italian cars down. Wonder How many Lambos he has compared to Vettes?? Guess it's all in the name of charity.
Remember the 900K after msrp. only costs him 540K as he gets a tax writeoff. I think that's the math. (Figure 40% bracket)
the auctioneers really seem to be working the room for these cars. Is the economy effecting the market that much? Jon in Delaware
OK, I love my Ferrari. I've owned four. I have also owned three Corvette, three Porsches and over a hundred other cars. But, that ZR1 really caught my eye. I want one. Sorry guys, I think it is amazing. I'm willing to put money on it right now. Where can I get in line first? Seriously, anyone know where the action on these cars is? The Ferrari is my weekend toy, I drove it today, but that Corvette can be a daily driver.
Light car though so it must feel intense. Whoops I made a typo. I meant your P4/P5 that the book states 485 horse.
It is hard to take. Looked like Michael Jackson on top of that car. I thought he was going to moon walk.
+1 on the daily....Yes your right it is an eye catcher... I would wait and by it for 50K in a few years....That's the sad reality of a Corvette.....
General Lee starting bid was 1 million....5 seconds later...its back at 200,000.00 and stuck. On my. Edit...ok...its moving now. Sold for 450K for the last General Lee used on the show.
