It seems that this video was removed from you tube and other web sights. does anyone have a copy?
Here is what he says about it: http://www.topgear.com/blogs/planettopgear/057-first-ferrari-jeremy-clarkson/ I can't seem to locate the video either...
I have it - 60MB .avi file. It's hilarious though not very informative. Mostly you gawk at JC's massive hairdo while he makes a few comments about the gearbox being notchy and the glow of driving a Ferrari. I'm guessing it was pulled for copyright. (?)
Saw this a while back, how can anyone take him seriously anymore..................LIAR....................lol Except of course the Fratelli 355 guys........
At least he admits he's a liar! So then... how can you possibly ever believe anything he says ''on camera''??? Regardless... he's just a guy, and there's nothing about HIS specific opinion that means anything to me!... we all know what they say about opinions.
I have a copy also. Mine is a 19MB MPEG-4....I used www.vixy.net to capture the video off You Tube many months ago. I now have a copy on my iPhone for my viewing pleasure... I love the part where he tries to put the Christmas tree in the car... LOL...
Clarkson is pure entertainment, so take his opinions with a grain of salt. I watch Top Gear when I can for the entertainment value and to see Euro cars we don't get. The rest is silly antics. I stand by my earlier comments that Clarkson's 348 opinions are colored by older unrefined models that were compared to a very refined 355. If he'd gone back to test the last of the last 348's he might have come away with a very different view.
There should be a copy here: http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2008/top-gear-clarkson-1991-p1.php Enjoy!
ROTFLMAO.... I forgot about that part... "You see, this is a 3-4-8, which has a 3.4 litre V8. The 3-2-8 had a 3.2 litre V8......" LOL He is SMOOOOOOTH!!!!!!!
JUst got a copy off ebay of a magazine printed in 1994 where Clarkson writes about the 348. You won't believe the things he said about the 348. Here's one quote.......... "Also, the memory of what the car looks like does tend to linger. It is (the 348) quite extraordinarily beautiful. I can think of no other car ever made, with the possible exceptoion of the 1966 Ferrari 330GTS, that is absolutely perfect from every angle." I've also got the video as well. I'll upload it to the new 348 website soon so it'll be there permanently.
Is linked on the front page of AutoBlog this morning. Direct link to page w/ video: http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/video-simply-the-best-clarkson-shows-ferrari-348-much-love-on/
there's a part early on where, speeding by, you just see his 'fro over the top of the windshield frame, nothing more. Hilarious!
