    Dear Comrades,,

The return of Stimo360 further consolidates the resurrection of this Forum. Many stars have returned already and I have no doubt that more will follow :)

    With kind regards,

    512 Tea Are

I've posted here for a while, and never did realise why the place suddenly got deserted. It was like we were all going "Hellloooooooooo" and nobody was there. Didn't discover Club Scud until Dave Z told me that everyone had gone there.

So, what I'd like is a quick synopsis of a) why everyone left here in the first place, and b) why they are now leaving CS. I don't have time to get to know the ins and outs. Somebody do us a summary please.

    Rob

I just want to make it perfectly clear I had nothing to do with people leaving CS! :)

For people that left because I was a little too passionate fighting for what I "thought" was right for FerrariChat.com, please accept my apology again. I never did anything on purpose to hurt FerrariChat.com or the UK forum specifically, quite the opposite.

as short as I can make it....

    a) everyone left in support of SteveF after he was banned by Rob. After a while wandering around Sy created Club Scud which most of the UK posters parked their rrses in.

    b) everyone is leaving because the place just isnt as good as it used to be and is being mis-managed

This is just IMO of course. :)

I'd prefer to think of stars being the light spots in the sky. They are ALWAYS there, no matter if its clear or cloudy ;) That is a real star imo.

Lets not talk bad about CS, they have been a good group that wasn't slowed down by a Tejas Admin (remember the Alamo). We don't care for it when CS talks bad about FC, we both just need to accept we're different. All online communities have to work through problems as the FC UK forum knows first hand years back.

OK, I'm leaving now, my fault for using the new posts functionality or I never would have seen this thread! :)

    Then you'd be wrong.

Its simple. People want to use a site where there are good people, good discussion, good banter and everyone is treated the same. This site wasn't like that IMO, but now is much better, CS was like that but now certain people get banned/infractions for something others get nothing for and it seems their is a pecking order and their is no freedom of speech at all. If you say anything some of the mods don't like or don't agree with, watch your back.

    Onwards and upwards i say

FOS is positively encouraged, as is positive constructive posting, which we seem to have pretty much nailed over here at the moment, even Fitzy is a good lad :D:D:D

A few people commented on mine and Robs heavy handed approach to moderating, but now, a few months on, the site is settled and fun, and the need for moderation is nigh on nil, so I would like to think we have got it nearly right now, just needs to get a little busier, perhaps with the help of people who view but dont/rarely post?.

<Hazy puts on hard hat and waits for the flak> :D:D:D

Did they also comment on your stupid and inane “welcoming messages” that you send to new posters? The ones in which you make presumptions and judgements based on zero evidence. Or is that not seen as heavy handed? If you want this forum to get busier then perhaps you should hold yourself in check before sending ridiculous pm`s to people you do not know nor have ever met.

You don`t need a hard hat for any flak, you should try thinking before you send whatever is in your tiny mind out into the ether.

All this because you got a 'welcome message' you didn't like??? Wow, bit harsh don't you think.

Do you use other sites under a different name or am i missing something here ???
