    Just came from the show with the family. Good show. Nice to see some of the cars I've been reading about for the last year or so. The GTR, new M3, IS-F etc. Worth 10 bucks.

    Don't bother with upstairs. All the fun cars are DS.

    A funny thought from another forum I was on earlier...the five tuner cars put out 2614 bhp together.

    7 liter Mallet CTS-V 570bhp
    Katech C6 Z06 594bhp
    Sportec 997TT 600bhp
    Hartge H50 V10 550bhp
    Carlsson C Class 300bhp

    Not bad...that Carlsson is bringing the avg down. They'll have to step it up next year. :)

    I went to the DC Auto Show today. It was great.

    Redding was in the FoW display section and was kind enough to let me inside the perimeter fences.
    You feel like you are in a fish bowl when you are in there. There are 50 or so people standing at the fences looking in staring at you and the cars and wondering why you get to go inside and they don't.

    And, the Redskin Cheerleaders were there today.

    Here are a few more pictures.

    Got to see the new Nissan GT-R in person. Pretty impressive car, it has 480 hp and will be here in June 2008. Supposedly the MSRP is just under $70k. Unfortunately they are only importing 1500 of them. So, that means, either the dealers will set the prices way over MSRP or only a few of Nissan's very special customers will be able to buy one (and, of course, some of those VIP customers will flip the new cars for way over MSRP). Also, I think the car is a little heavy, at something like 3800 lbs. But with 480 hp, it should still be very fast.

    For some reason, there wasn't a pretty woman modeling next to Luigi. Maybe she was on break or something? :)

    Looks like it is a good show, I hope Redding remembers me, I want to get a good look at that F40.

    Me likeee the M3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that C/F roof is awesome! Doesn't look like I am going to make it down there again this year! Oh well, Ron (toggie) and I went by FOW today! Speaking of which the Ferrari 2007 yearbook is out, not cheap at $95, but I had to get one!
