Ladies and gents Would anyone happen to know, in this picture of a yellow scuderia, the racing livery (stripe) seems to be very much darker than the ones I have seen on red scuderia photos. Is this an optical illusion because the yellow is a much lighter colour. Would be interested in opinions. Thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm guessing it is nothing more than an illusion created by the angle of the camera on the yellow car.
The colors of the stripes between the two cars are two different colors. The yellow Scud has almost black stripes where as the red Scud has a slight darker silver stripes.
Regarding to what my dealer told me when I was speccing out my car, 430 Scuderia exists with only one option - Dark Grey Stripes. Everything else can be ordered only as Special Order item, because there are some customers who want to have Gold or Black stripes to match Gold or Black wheels. Best.
Thanks for that. So in your opinion are the stripes in the pictures of the two cars I put up actually the same colour or do you think one of them is special order?
Stripe on Rosso car is grey, there is no doubt about it. Stripe on Giallo car from first look is closer to Black, but it is press pic made by professional so color and most of all it's shades can depend on angle of the camera or something like that. Best.
optical illusion - it's the same stripe - here's another picture from the same article from evo. I'm seriously considering the Giallo/stripe combination Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, this is an optical illusion. Here's an example posted by RayJohns last summer: http://www.daytraders.com/unreal.html
The photo could have been enhanced to show off something in particular. It's probably the titanium colored stripe.
Watch this YouTube video entitled Abenteuer Auto Ferrari F430 Scuderia and it appears to be the same stripe... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og7DIcmwQl0&NR=1
Haven't been as yet but do plan to go to one of them soon. Do you go Dennis? If you do, see you there sometime.
