    I've never been banned- and I started my own competing forum while here (although I think history would see it differently ;))

    It's really not that hard if you can pull your punches occasionally (Darth is the exception to this only because he's right 99.8% of the time.. but you may just not like his delivery).

    It's amazing how people think that non-owners should not be here or should have nothing to say. Some of the most knowledgeable users are past & non-owners. Some users are simply trying to get there and are true petro heads with big dreams. I guess when someone finally get that special 308 then the rest is nothing. Funny.

    I think you'd have to ask yourself how many times he's personally benefited from his knowledge on a particular person or business.

    At last count it was *zero*.. I can't say the same for the various other members whom he has exposed/called out in the last five or so years. My litmus test is that if someone has a problem with what he's saying then they usually have something to hide.

    Nothing. No agenda. I came here at first to talk about the Ferrari I had at the time. The other boards and rooms that I had found back then were populated by street racers and non owners who couldn't relate. After a short while, when asked what I drove, I would just say it didn't matter and I'd just talk about the Camaros I had earlier. A guy who used to work for Fox Valley motors just so happened to be in an AOL room and sent me a link.

    I am here to talk about Ferraris first. The other stuff just happens when I happen to see some blow hard blowing or some yahoo trying to invade for all the wrong reasons.

    I'm just hangin' out shooting the breeze with other Ferrari guys. (Owners or not. Doesn't make a lick of difference to me.)

    As to Darth's personal gains or losses here? I can't speak to that.

    I've always felt that he was here for the fun of it, just like me. We just don't always agree on what "fun" is.

    I'm not mad, I'm not banning, users can say what they want both ways. Seems that flies always show up where there's crap, I think I have a new nickname for Darth... Of course the opposing argument is always Darth shows up to throw the crap out. :confused:

    Almost monthly I delete users that haven't been active in a few years. Even with the deletions our net growth is 1,000 a month.

    At least 32,000 registered users have been active last 12 months. 13,000 registered users have been active last couple weeks. At any given time half or more of the users on our site aren't registered users, like right now which is actually past our daily peak times we have 526 users browsing (226 registered and 300 guests).

    Not sure what your point is? Are you saying 3,000 posts a day and all the people that just browse isn't significant?
