Anyone here have any long term ownership experience and would be willing to chat a bit about it?

Can't speak about the TG, but I had a Donzi for awhile and while it was a bit one-dimensional, it let me scratch the itch.

TG's are very nice boats, and ride well in rough water. I as well could not open the pics, so can't say much about the boat you're talking about. You might want to check out offshoreonly.com. Do some searches there in the cig section. Lots of owners there. Remember, this is a big heavy boat, so power and drive packages are everything. It can damn near double the cost of the boat going from a 496/bravo, to a 850 with #6 drive. Do your homework and GET A MARINE SURVEY no matter what.

I've owned Manhattan Express since 1983. It's hull #1 (38) Still going strong. Engines are on borrowed time 350+ hours since last rebuild. I use her in the Sound and around Manhattan. Great day boat. You have to flush engines after every use and keep her washed down but they are VERY strong hulls. Mine is original Cig. Race Team Boat not sure about the new ones.

No offense but I wouldnt of pictured you as a boat guy too, but sounds like you got a very neat boat. What motors are you using? The new cigs are some pretty boats.
