    Hey all,

I might want to adapt a power seat mechanism to the 308 seat (preferred) or just drop diifferent seats in there . . . option 2 probably isn't reality since the 308 seats are so low. Just remembered I saw some 360 seats in a 308 . . . are they power? Hmmmm . .. might be able to make them work?

I had a new P car seat out and it had cables running under the seat which from memory might be able to be adapted to the 308 seat. Any other thoughts on mechanisms/seats that might have usable pieces?

    Thanks,

    Sean

I've got 360 seats in my 355 powered 308. World of difference. Single biggest thing you can do for your car. Far far superior comfort and much better stability in hard turns. No sliding off these seats. I've got a set of 430 seats now and they are so much better than 360 seats. Been debating putting them in my car but the 360s are already bolted down.

Power seats ? Do you actually move the position of your seat. Wow I think mine must be rusty because it hasn't moved in the 9 years I have owned the car. Let us know if you can fine any that fit.

Thanks for the link . . . the back of the 308 seat is practically on the floor so I think the 3.68" minimum will be an issue. That's the kind of mechanism I hoped might be out there . . .might be a way to sink that mechnism below the existing floor . . . several people have mentioned lowering the seat so that might work . .. i.e. mounting it below existing floor but now below undertray.

    Thanks,

    Sean

It's a nice setup. ExcelsiorZ I forgot did you tell me you used the 308 seat brackets or the 360 brackets on those seats? I think you told me you thought the 360 power seats would work with the stock brackets with mod's?

    Hmmmmmmm.

For lower seat height/more headroom we used the 308 seat tracks.
