Isn't Kyosho going to release one this year? Or just the regular TR?

The ONLY 512TR was made by MIRA years ago. Probably about the same time the real thing came out. They made them in variety of colors and in gtS also. A real 512tr gtS never left a Ferrari factory but I believe few real ones were custom modified for customers or at least they were planned to be made.
The quality of the model is bellow average. Fit and finish are terrible. On most of them the front hood does not shut very well. The tires the model comes with are the worst I have seen on a diecast. The interior consist of no more than 5 parts probably and the engine bay has a far lesser count.
However it is the only choice out there and the body has pretty correct shape. It just lacks detail. On mine I massaged the hood a little to make it fit better and put tires from a Bburago model, which where a great improvement. Also the wheels were cut off the car and then permanently fixed in order to correct the awkward stance.
Later on Hot Wheels produced a 512M, based on the same old Mira molding. Fit and finish are definitely improved but for the most part the model inherited the same problems as the original model. It was produced in red and black plus a "polished" look as part of a six car collection.
    Hope this info helps.
