Hi guys, just realized that the fabris above my head is a bit dirty (as I usually have windows down when I drive). Any advices on how to clean it without making it messy (Im afraid that i would make dirt become more permanent by wiping it with wet cloth) thanks Pengster
I've used Griots interior cleaner on headliners plenty of times--works great, not harsh at all and smells good...
Be careful, that stuff is pretty fragile. I have some wrinkles in mine now that I cleaned it (the foam behind it must be all collapsed). BT
I have not tried this, but may at some point on a couple spots on my 348 headliner. It's K2R spot lifter, but it is solvent-based. So caution would be in order! It's available at True Value hardware, and also they have a website. It works well on carpet stains, and the nice thing is that it only requires vacuuming... no rubbing. You spray it on spots, and let it dry, then vacuum the powder up. But I'd use it sparingly at first... if the spray leached down to the foam backing, it may degrade it... not sure. But it is pretty effective. Also- don't breath vapors, and well-ventilate area. HTH..
