On Saturday morning, while other people are waiting to see whether Punxatawney Phil, Staten Island Chuck, General Beauregard Lee and their friends predict an early spring, we have something better that we can do....Caffeine & Octane!

The monthly show, which has gotten real big in recent months, will go on as usual at The Avenue East Cobb. This is honestly a show that features everything, and its always fun to see what shows up. The weather forecast is for clear and chilly, but a similar forecast didn't keep over 100 cars from showing up in January! Let's have a good turnout of European classics.....

Here's this month's flyer with the details:

Hopefully, I will be there, not that it really matters though. I'll be in dad's 750Li, but in the far away spectator lot. Thanks for always putting out the flyers, Jim.

I don't think it's your account that's been suspended, it's their account with their webhost. Not paying the bill, perhaps?

Updated weather forecast for Saturday morning: sunny, no rain, little wind, 32 degrees at 8:30 rising to 44 by 11:00, headed for a high of 56. Not bad at all, except that General Lee is certain to see his shadow......

......because it's a 912, the model after the 356! Get it? There was the 356A then B, C, and then the 356 powered 912 or "D" model. The badging fooled more than one person yesterday.......

    That's great... :D

By the way, why did the real 356's have their own corral around the corner and chose to be away from the rest of the cars? Are they too good or is there something I'm missing?

It's what you missed. There was a 8:00 AM 356 club Board of Director's meeting at the coffee shop so they parked there prior to the cruise-in. A good group of guys without an attitude.

With one exception, they all moved over to the show area later, and I'll have photos of them in a later post. But I never knew that the 912 was considered a "356D". Were all 912s badged that way?
