Need Help identifying part

    Great Pic. Appreciate your efforts. Well that's one can I can certainly elimunate.

    Upon close exaimination of my broken lever under a magnifier, there is no grove on the surface that contacts the shifter. When the 2 peices are joined together it's a pefect fit with no evidence of wear. So no sawing action. I showed to a guy who runs a machine shop and he says it's crap metal. Mush have been a stress fracture. Ever heard of anyone else breaking one? I have not. Thanks again. My quest continues. I guess I'm obessesd now in finding out where it's from.

    Maybe it's a cheap, poorly-made knock off that isn't even close to what it should be....???
