Karim, actions speak louder then words. For you to lecture people about being safe.......perhaps you could offer a suggestion, but to pontificate on the merits of driving safely....there is a certain amount of hypocracy. However, congrats on the new enlightened perspective. I agree, safety first.. ALWAYS.

Although people might perceive some of your road adventures as spotless, it's interesting how some of those rare instances of a couple of drives have resulted in incidents that have been omitted from comment. None the less with a stature of your caliber would be best to set an example?.
Nor,can I! Just wanted to recap. GT3 attemped to pass a Z4 "M" Coupe what was on DOT slicks & not to mention I was about 1 or 2miles behid "MnMblu" but having a good time. again, wasn't my fault. I wasnt driving the car, the way you put it as if I was the one controling the Gas & sterring wheel. wait, were you there ? I dont remember, Thought you extreamly adiment about not attending. Now that is really not fair and below the belt to bring him into this. Again, was I driving?, who said anything about drifting?. Slid into an open easement on the side of the road, is more like it. Um, Might want to talk to Rafi about that, again was I driving the car ? no ?.

I don't know the new route, but it begins on the Ortega as always, ending at Shaunessey's garage probably has something to do with it, as well as incomplete road construction. Tom B. always drives the route the day before to insure a safe and fun road, and to identify potential problem areas (water, pot holes etc.). Just to clarify, this run is not a race, or even a "canyon run" it is a drive involving many many Ferraris, there are sections where the speeds can "increase a bit" but overall it is very "adult". Just the sound and site of 80 to 100 Ferraris cruising together at legal speed is enough. It's a celebration, not a competition....Ferraris, twisty country roads, good people, food.... (and now back to the slug-fest thread hijack (no worries Jon) Darth, mind if I join in, I'm pouring Milagra Reposado -Luigi PS: Karim. It just so happens that I am posting this from my laptop in Lancaster @ Willow Springs Raceway. Here for a 2 day road race/time trial/ driving school/track event. I agree, there is a time and place for everything (no CHP or fences on the track, and the safety crew is always standing ready).This is the place to GO FAST.
Sorry, Honestly no offence to you or directed at you, I really was just merely referring to having a back up team for a drive, meaning 1st aid , fire suppression equipment and etc. Yes, I have had my faults in the past but I do not constantly rub them in peoples faces, If I were to constantly remind you of your faults i would think there is a breaking point when you would say something in return. Sure, yes you would, I cant joke with you guys as its easy to send something out as a comment or a joke but man some of you guys cant take a return joke or comment. Im not worried about you or any others friendships as when its time to bat you know who your friends are. Oh, nor am I the type of person to call the local law enforcement agencies out one people who are not apart of the so-called "IN" crowd. Just remember American express is not accepted everywhere as Master Card is accepted ........................Membership doesnt have its benefits.
