Ummm, there are water spots on your aircleaner cover!?!?!?!?!?!
My 328 started missing/ running sort of rough with 6000 miles on the previuos 30K service 3 years ago so I suspected the wires or bad gas . I used a high voltage tester from Auto Zone that cost about $15 . It clips into the wire end toward the spark plug . You ground the other lead , set an air gap based on the expected output ( I used 2KeV ) for my 328 GTS . Crank up the car . Observe , turn off car move to another cylinder . Works best at night . The spark jumps across the air gap . I got a big blue spark at that air gap so suspected the plug extenders , Sure enough #8 extender had a small hole where the wire clip grips the plug thus some spark leakage going to ground but probably also some going to the plug . $8 new extender from Ricambi solved it . The 4 wires on the hotter front side of the engine were replaced about 8 years ago . Kingsbourne is a source for red 7-8mm wires and have heard they work fine .
Just recieved the shipment yesterday, 5100 feet on one spool Taylor 7mm, Spiro-core, embedded conductor, silicone jacketed, black with no printing, 350 ohms per foot. Simply the best plug wire that can be had as it is not fragile like the Cavis, has the proper resistance for these cars and is Silicone jacketed to last many years. Being 7mm on the OD it properly fits the caps and is easy to thread through the existing silicone tubes for the QV's and TR's. I had it made black with no printing so it would look proper for the Vintage cars as well. Posting an ad in FerrariAd's with photos this AM Dave
