Dammit post pics of it sittin at the shop!!!.
As an aside, the Shaggin Wagon resides in the midwest. The current owner bought it at an auction without having any real idea what it was, he had never seen D&D. His sister is a vet and thought it would be a neat conversation piece for her business.
NO I am not 100% positive, that is what I have gotten from my research...as a matter of fact I have since learned of at least one other...any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, So is it 5, if it is more than 5 would you not say 6? so how many do you think there are for sure?? I was also told....correct me if you have other info...that the 93 MY cars were built in late November December 92...is that correct?
Dear Lamborghinisti, Roy, My info is that all MY 93's are really rebadged 92's . As I understand it, they didn't make any 2wd cars in 93. Maybe ramping up for the 94 VT? ...sort of the MY 2000? (except the special stuff (GT) Again, for the 6.0? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Lambo history is sooo sketchy. Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice !
Yes, I was told that as well...added...I was told that the "93" cars are really 92 cars, just late production after Sept 92 so for USA they carried 93 VIN# through the end of the year...I was also told that the 94 cars are as well really 93 MY but again late production carried 94 VIN for the USA...and the VT
Belive it or not, I watched this movie last night on my DVD, seeing the car and also wondering on its whereabouts. And there you go, there is a thread on Fchat this morning, lol Hey, while we are speaking about famous car, anybody knows what happened with "Gone in 60 seconds SE 30" ?
I could be wrong, but I dont think I am. I have been in a Diablo that matches the description and pics of the d&d car. I few years back while I was at school in Alexandria, Mn I lived next to an old mechanic who had a shop in town. I was lucky enough to become good friends with the guy and he would let me come make crap out of the junker cars in his back lot. One day while I was there a guy came and asked If Rob(the owner of the shop) would work on a car he just traded his float plane for. The car turned out to be an early 90's diablo, red/tan with rwd. I think this might be one of the cars you guys are talking about. I can get all the info on the car but if you want, it would have to be quick as my old friend has cancer and not much time at all.( really interesting/sad story behind this great man)
Any info is ALWAYS great...so many of these cars have history that only a few know. I just recently made contact with a guy in MONTANA of all places...He is the current owner of a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 Black over Black with only 800 MILES ON IT!! It is amazing where some of these cars come from and where so many are still in hiding...
Cool. I met her here in Toronto at a wedding which I was part of for my good friend. Her hair is alot shorter now. She is a very pretty women still That movie was a classic!
when I saw the car it had either 17 or 27k miles, an aftermarket stereo/ dvd player in the dash and some mechanical problems. like I said im my last post, It was traded for a float plane and some cash. I might have some pics of it somewhere, ill look for them but cant promise anything.
Not the same car, this car has approx 17K KM on the clock currently,, no after market items on the car atl all...completely stock.
It's been a while since I've seen the movie. What words were on the CO plate? DUMB? DUMBER? EINSTEIN? MENSA?
Dear Lamborghinisti, Hmmmm..... You need about that much chest hair if you want to be called a "true" Lamborghini owner. Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice !
