Did anyone else notice, when viewing the movie LeMans with Steve McQueen, that there is one Porsche 911 that doesn't seem to do anything but get passed? (Sounds about right to me.)
Doesn't the center reflector (in the red light) and the center white lense (in the amber light) just pop out? I like it.
Hey, I didn't even look that closely. I'll check that out on the weekend. Car is in winter storage. Thanks for the tip.
Beautiful car. I also have a 1985 308 GTS. I'm so interested in the 1985 cars that I try to document those that I see (kinda like the 308 Registry web site). My car is chassis # 52859. What's yours? It looks like it could be Chassis #55491, 55989, or 56163. Am I close? Kevinwi
Thank you, Just a little Higher # 58481. Actually you should check out this web site: http://ferrari308qv.free.fr/ very well done.
That's a cool site. I love all the animation. I only wish I could read French. Is that front spoiler a factory option or a later change? It looks great. Kevinwi
It was a factory option, actually the only thing that was changed later on the car by previous owner was the radio: Nakamichi cd player which I find is outdated. I have some plans for her this summer!! I think I'm going to upgrade the exhaust stytem and eliminate some restriction. Now the question is which exhaust to go with? ( TUBI,STEBRO,CAPRISTO, etc..)
Yes I did, there is also QUICKSILVER Exhaust Systems, the options are pretty good out there, so the question still remains which is the right one? actually which is the best bang for my buck! Thanks
Pat, every time I open this thread I hate you even more for not selling me your car!!! LoL. j/k. Really, I open this thread just to look at your car thinking maybe someday Pat will.................................. You never know! Great car!!!!
Couldn't help but park my 308 next to FNA's Moby Dick at The Breakers. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks Mike, it pretty much answered my question. I appreciate the help and believe the X-ost sounds like the one for me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You might want to check out Capristo. That is what I have on mine and it's better sounding than all the others (I've installed all others or heard them on customer QVs). Only drawback is the Capristo is for no cats Euro version only which is no problem for me since it is a Euro.
Yes I agree the Capristo do sound good but unfortunately I may not be able to use it here in CA. I guess the next best thing is the X-Ost, what do you think of them?
I have HYPER-FLOW cats with stock exhaust, and I love them! (They also work with aftermarket exhaust systems.) I tested an extra 32 HP on the dyno. I passed Colorado smog test easily; it barely registered. Plus the HyperFlows don't have the same tendency to overheat. . .And with just the cats, with the original pipes, my car sounds awesome. I recommend these for anyone with an 80 - 82 injected car who wants to boost performance back up to the range of the carbureted models. . .Of course, they also have cats for the QVs. I'm not affiliated with Hyper-Flow, just a very satisfied customer.
Have no experience with them. Tubi makes a nice piece and the Larini is cool but a bit noisy as compared to either the Capristo or Tubi in my opinion. I don't like them too loud, just cool sounding.
