    Oh, come on...the guy's a stock broker :)

It is nice to see that the money goes to charity...it's an interesting concept I wonder what AssMan would go for here in the US after the Seinfeld episode.

    I think its cool,
    1) A good portion of the money goes to charity-so a million dollars 001 zr1, or 759k mustang 001 at B-J is ok because it goes to charity you can spend more knowing that its going to a good cause. California has raised more than 1 billion dollars from vanity plate sales.

    2) Who cares where he got his money, as it is hes a stock broker and although Im sure hes highly into the oil industry thats still not the point its still money he earned and can do whatever he wants with it.

I still haven't heard a decennt explanation for why a country so rich it doesn't have to do its own work, but instead pays foreigners (like me) to come do it for them, needs charities.

But sure as shooting, some little expat child will be at my door with a school project to collect money for "charity." They never even know what their money is going to. The favorite charity around here, according to some wags, is suicide bombers. Twenty-five million dirhams ($6.8MM) will buy a lot of rockets for Gaza, I reckon.

Most charity money never makes it past the administrators... to the people who really need it :(

That is what I was thinking the whole time.
They are raising money for the moderately wealthy. Their version of the poor. I can imagine the charity recipients are poor foreigners that get caught up in accidents serving their employers since they do not have a healthcare system that is affordable to the working class.
