    Hey everyone,

    A little up-date.

Some of you guys might remember a thread I started a while back when my engine hood was shut and I could not open it due the driver's side latch not opening. We decided to go the way of removing the red stop light and getting in there like that. The light was broken and the engine hood was opened that way. The light needed replacement anyways - cracked bushing, only really staying in place by one or two screws. In the mean time I found an original new OEM light (NOS) and bought it from someone for $125. Not bad at all. So, that's how it all ended up going. While in the shop, I got the fuel lines replaced already, etc, etc.

I'm excited now. My car started after I flooded the plugs a bit originally, the engine hood is finally open and the car will be back from its service in a couple of weeks. I bought the car going plainly on my internal feeling - a 76 308GTB. Liked it, bought it, hoping it would end up a good car. I went with my gut. I spoke with the mechanic today and the vehicle got thumbs up which was a RELIEF! I had it for a few months and knew it needed a major, so really did not want to drive it much until I got it sorted ... its was tough, Ferrari in the garage with very ocassional cruise around town with a voice saying - Get it serviced now!

So, I guess I'm excited ... can not wait to have my car back that will be ready to be driven and finally ENJOYED!!!! Thanks to everyone for good hanging with me while i was in the middle of the hood saga, that was frustrating ... ha ha, but like all things - overcome!!!!
