    The site went down years ago, and never returned. Was he sued, did he die or what? I assume he went bankrupt, but wondering what the story is?

    I don't know but man do I love their 962 LeMans and the EB110 they did, this is from SC.net

    "In total 13 Dauer conversions have been finished, and Dauer are still taking orders for more cars. They are also finishing up a very limited run of Bugatti EB110s that were sold in pieces to Dauer when the company closed. We have also heard that Dauer is updating their 962 and a 2006 model is in the works."

    I haven't heard anything about the 2006 model, unfortunately

    The yellow 962 conversion they did was in Excellence a few years back, and I've been smitten ever since.

    The CF Eb110 was amazing! Not sure if they even sold the last one...
