I went to Ferrari of Houston yesterday to get some parts and was bowled over by the rare beauties in the service shop. Sadly, the service guy didn't let me take pictures. :(

If you want to see a superb GTO - 1962 I believe - you gotta go to the dealer ASAP!

275 GTB outside in the main showroom? That's always there on display. There were no 275s inside the service area.

I'm sure you can ask to see the inside. Else buy a Ferrari sticker for a buck or two :)

It's actually the even rarer 330LMB you saw, a GTO body fitted with the larger 4.0L engine...nice huh?

And the 'SWB' isn't a 250SWB either, it's a one of a kind body that was fitted to a longer wheelbase chassis....the front fenders are noticably longer than a SWB would be, but the overall styling lines make this very hard to notice!

    But yes.....VERY interesting examples, indeed!

The sell Cavallinos and yearbooks and hats and models in Parts Department, not hard to run up a bill! :D :D

I dont stop by FoH enough but when I interviewed with Scott Gresham back in '99 he took me into the service area and there was Paul Frames F50 and Gerhard Berger's F1/87 formula one car. I was in heaven!!

Thanks for the additional info. I saw an 330 LMB in Pebble Beach in 2005 brought from England. I wonder if it is the same car. The SWB sure fooled me. I was there barely a minute or two before I was shooed away.

The F50 has been there for sometime. It is the famous high mileage F50. Beautiful car. The engine is back from Maranello. I am looking forward to seeing it on the road again.
