Maybe it would be interesting to have a go at trying to identify the 60 different 612 Sessanta cars? Please find below the cars that I know of so far, sorted by the individual little "60 Years" plates in the car's interior. Any additions would be most welcome! (I have attached an Excel file with a much nicer overview btw) Ciao, Lars T. I would love to see some pics of these cars, does anybody have any of these wild and wonderful combinations. Also what is with the strange nicknames? Each car has its own?
Don't know the colour combination's name (it's the gray over black) and it was spotted in Mexico City. I post the thread here for you to verify. Also, whilst picture was taken on the move, couldn't notice plate number nor interior colour (seems light brown to me). http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=137354727&postcount=4298
For RTB's car: you can see it in the thread "612 Sessanta arrives in the UK". Each of the 60 cars has its own badge, like the ones that where on the 60 years festivities baton that travelled the world. There's a white Sessanta here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=184260&highlight=sessanta best Jurgen
Indeed, you´re right! I must have mixed it up with the Avorio over Vinaccia car that we also discussed in that thread. Thanks for pointing out this mistake! Ciao, Lars T.
So this is the newest list, with some updates and corrections: Plate # 1 - "25 Maggio 1947" Avorio over Vinaccia/All brown w.cream stitching Euro LHD Location unknown Featured in the 2007 Ferrari yearbook Plate # 4 - "1000 Miglia - Giannino Marzotto" Rubino micallizzato over Nero/interior unknown Euro LHD Located in Italy Plate # 9 - "250 GT 1954" All black/Black Euro LHD Located in the Netherlands Plate # 12 - "1957 California" Unknown colours US LHD Located in NY/USA Plate # 28 - "1972 Fiorano" Bianco Fuji over Blu Tour de France/All Blu Scuro w. white stitching EU RHD Located in the U.K. Plate # 44 - "1990 GP di Francia" Grigio Scuro over Nero/Brown Euro LHD Located in France Plate # 56 - "Enzo Ferrari 2002 World Champion" All Rolls-Royce Arctic white/All white w. red stitching US LHD Located in FL+NJ/USA Plate # 60 - "FXX Programme" Rubino micallizzato over Nero Daytona/All dark grey Euro LHD Location unknown Shown by Ferrari during the 60 year celebrations at Fiorano, Italy Ciao, Lars T.
Thank you, the interior (at least the dash) indeed looks brown to me. Anyone know which badge this car has? Ciao, Lars T.
Please, which s-number for this sessanta full white, seen at The Cavallino ? (with plate "handcrafted for Michael Fux"...) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi! Great idea about the list! I will soon try to find out for you combination and badge of one of the cars arriving in our region.
The one with the Jean Todt's plate could belong to ... JT himself ? (when we know all the gifts he receive from Ferrari .....).
That would be very nice, thank you! I also collect the s/ns btw, so if you could "catch" that too, that would be great! Ciao, Lars T.
Thanks John! Maybe you know the colour combination (or even the s/n) too? My guess for the owner's name is Mr. Phil B. Correct? Thanks again and ciao, Lars T.
