My driveway is severely angled. Properly used, these curbs allow my 430 (European height) to make it. I guess we need to see each others pictures. I apparently showed too many pictures and need to become a member to get more on line. I will try to do that soon. Best

I could have been using them improperly without really knowing.

Send me an email and I will send back my pics...

Having seen this and the crud accumulating at the top, I would consider a 3 inch steel pipe to allow the water to move under the concrete ramp. Maybe even a rectangular one. Something needs to be there.

If I poured that in front of my driveway, the city would bust it up, haul it away, and send me a bill, a big bill.

I sent you e mail but need to take some pictures to show you. I set up two curbs and my neighbor used three. Once I saw his, it occurred to me you could place four across the driveway and not have to align tires with curbs to avoid bottoming out. In any case, I do line up my tires to roll over the curbs and (barely) miss the bottom. From the looks of your driveway, mine is equally challenging.Best

i'm amazed everytime i do it. my wife almost faints every time she watches me back out :) i have a couple friends that have stradales, and they make it up/down the driveway also. but i grit my teeth each time just waiting for something to scrape. it just looks like something has to scrape some where :) but it doesn't!

haha that is brilliant .. and I thought I gringed everytime I drove in/out of my drive .. that's heart attack stuff. You're a brave man to have even tried it in the first place let alone do it on a regular basis!

Rick... does the car make horrible twisting/creaking noises when you have it in tripod mode (like in these pix)?

Skip the G35/350 ownership, I found that just got in my way of proper development. ;)

Nah, the G is my fun, fairly inexpensive, daily driver; the 360 is for when I get home after a hard day at the office.

VTC: What was the cost of pouring the concrete at the end of your driveway? I am looking to do the same thing.

You really need to take and post a video of this for the forum.

Also, to the OP -- might want to check in the nor-cal forum as it is not uncommon in San Francisco to have lots of driveway challenges. Most of which are overcome with the proper engineering. You might get some good tips over there.

Is that special effects??? Going on three wheels makes the car flex, and over the long term the body may start creaking. One of my cars is creaking after months of going up a much less dramatic driveway.

Wow, Rick! You get my vote for Ferrari picture of the year. That's simply amazing.

Speaking about how low these cars can be, and bad driveways, check out what I had to do to get my F40 in the garage the first day I brought it home! Yes, that's Home Depot plywood and assorted lumber. I kid you not.

My 360, on the other hand, fit in the next steeper bay if I backed it in. Couldn’t go straight in because the front suspension would compress and reduce clearance too much.

I am dreading this. I am moving into the house below in the next few months and am not looking forward to the angle into the garage. I am going to get a bigger garage to the right of the house built to accommodate the 360.

I have both a porsche and f430, just have to go real slow at an angle with the f430, where i can go straight up with the porsche (although that bottoms out if i go to fast). I tried backing the f430 up the driveway, bad move, it scraped even when I took it up even at an angle. Bottom line, the standard (non-lowered) f430 can easily go up about a 3% grade at an angle, but any greater and I wouldn't try it.

That is the prob only one garage now and it is dicey. I tested my porsche when i got the house and it just got in, so I think I will need definitely need to make some garage mods for the F car. On the other side there is a stupid old woman who will wants to fight me for planning permission. She will lose but it will take time so for now my daily driver will ahve to be in the street until I can get it all done. Then I will have a double and a single which means another car coming :).

These planing permission are sometimes crazy and if you dont have good neighbours, its not easy..... I have also only 1 car garage for Ferrari , daily drivers stay out. Also plan to build up but my problem is space...

That youtube video is unreal, I almost thought you had photoshopped your pic!

My driveway is steep, too. I had an 04 Gallardo that would scrape everytime (I put skids on the bottom). The 05 hydraulic was nice, but I hated waiting for it. My 97 Viper GTS (lowered) was the worst of the bunch. For some reason, my 360 has no problem clearing it.

I love the curb ramps, but I'd have to remove them because of my neighborhood HOA. How did you guys get around getting a new slab or concrete poured without a license? I think someone said it before, but if I did that my HOA would bust it up and send me a bill.
