    Greetings from the frosty north. I attended the Amelia concours last year and really want to come again. It was a fantastic event with over 200 cars on display.

    Will any of the Florida contingent headed to the concours this year? It might be interesting to set a meeting place. One of the classes is Ferrari Grand Touring. If last year is any indicator, there should be some fabulous cars in attendance.

    I'm looking for suggestions on places to bunk down just on Saturday night. I believe the Ritz is sold out and somewhat pricy as well. I'm doing the old fashion road trip from DC. Should take me about 13 hours or so.

    Ken, because the Ferrari Challenge is on the same weekend and Ido not want to miss that, I usually fly to Jacksonville after the Challenge, spend the night before the concours at a hotel near the airport, and drive a rental car to the show in the morning. Hotel airports are usually reasonable.

    I always stay at the amelia island plantation, really nice condos with kitchen, on the beach, good restaurants, things to do for the kids as well.
