    on a 360 how often do you need to have the belt changed? and any major service performed.. I have been told different things by two different places I was looking at 360's at...one place told me you need to change the belt every 8 years another place said 3 years and said it cost about $7,000.00 each time you have that belt service completed? Is that correct.. please advise ..

    3 yrs or 30k miles.

    Not sure of the cost but I heard it was $2,500 as they don't have to take the engine out like the 355.

    I believe Ferrari says 3 yrs, but many people say 4 yrs. Price is depends on what all is done and who does it. Full service at a Ferrari dealer runs between $4200 and $4700. This same work can be done for about 2/3 at a good non-dealer shop.

    3 yrs and i believe you can have the belt replaced around 1500 usd. Of course you can spend more as mentioned beliw for full service ( changing all fluids, etc....)....but generaly 7K seems to me nonsense.....

    Every three yrs. regardless of mileage. Belts dry out. Cost approx.$4000.
    Had it done on a '99 Modena in 2004. Sold car 2006. If belts go when driving,
    cost will be much more.

    Here is the straight skinny from the Ferrari pricing and recommended changes. There are 2 different belt service intervals, one 3yr/15k mile and the other 6yr/30k mile.
    The 3yr/15k is more than just belts, here is the break down:

    Oil&Fluid
    Timing Belts
    Engine Acc. Belts
    A/C Freon and Filter
    Spark Plugs
    SD2 Report
    Preventive lube care
    I-A(inspect and adjust0

    Total=$5768.54

    Remember everything is negotiable!!!! So, its more than just belts and this is a Ferrari authorized pricing/service guideline.
