how could a comment saying MOST of us have no friggin' idea what we're talking about, be aimed at Ted and Andreas? in fact, that comment according to you makes most everyone out to be idiots-- as is if we have no working knowlege of F1 whatsoever, Shumassa be dammmmmnnnned. how is it I that comes across elitist by calling you out on making those jabs.

....get your Massa excuses for this year ready, because you'll need plenty of them.

You know, when Cheney shot his buddy in the face, everyone was like "Who to hell hunts for quail?".
Well this year I am going hunting for crows, because whether it is me or one of you, there are going to be few served for sure.
My whole thing is not whether Massa would be champion or not, but whether he would do very well or not. If he finishes in the top 3 I am serving few portions to people here, who have said that this year he is not going to win a single race and since Kimi is now used to the car would open a huge gap in points. I say lets wait and see. Very soon it would become pretty clear who was on the right track and who was wearing silver, red, blue or yellow shades .

I'm just joking, down 17 with 2 to play was a stretch, only my warped sense of reality allowed me to even believe that KR had a chance.

P.S. Thanks to Massa, Kimi could have never won the title, ALL HAIL MASSA (aka Fourth Place Phil)

Excuse number 1: Massa is slower than Kimi

Proof: Kimi's fastest lap today was .838 seconds faster than Phil's. .838 SECONDS

    Yes it does.

My support of the team is NOT CONDITIONAL, yours is. I don't care for Massa but my love and support of the team is in no way diminished. You, on the other hand, only support the team when it suits you.

So, when you criticize the team it is an indication of how passionate you are about them.

When I criticize the team, it means that I am a closet McLaren supporter?!?

    LOL.

    This is the problem.

Massa could finish 7th in the standings, not win a race, maybe not even podium in a race and yet the Massa supporters here will be full of excuses.

You just dont stop do you? Why not just leave it at the fact that most in here like Massa and a select group of you would like him gone to make room for Alonshole? We can have a lot of fun when the season starts by discussing each race and how Massa did or didnt do. Slamming him at every turn is saying something else other that being this great fan of the red machine. Im also going to have fun collecting that bet from you.:)

At the very least, it is going to make the season that much more interesting, wouldn't you say? ;)

By the way, even some of the Massa detractors here think I might have a tough time with that bet. It is as much my faith that Renault will improve this season as it is my conviction that Massa will struggle this year. Whether Renault gies him a good enough car remains to be seen.

Hedging your bets? :) Of course he'll do well, he's in the Ferrari! While you're scaling back on how well Massa will do this year many are still predicting a WDC from him. Thank god we don't have team orders as this will be able to let us see how he stacks up to Kimi. If there were all we'd here is "well, the only reason why Massa's behind Kimi in the standings is because of the team orders. If Ferrari didn't have any he'd be out ahead by miles."

I like many can't wait for the season to begin.

Yes it will make it that much more interesting. Hopefully it will go down to the last few races but I doubt it. Massa should bag 3 out of the first 5 races.;)

    36 days to go!

If his goal wasn't to win the WDC each and every year he was in F1...he should be fired...

For most of the F1 grid, Massa included, their primary goal for 2008 is to not get fired.
