I'm going to have to vote down the blue with gold wheels,as Subaru already has that color combo on 2 many cars. I love it.... but it's taken.

The three color classics are RED BLACK and YELLOW.

Yellow is a fairly common color and I notice all the inexpensive Ferrari's at the moment for sale are Yellow. Or at least a disproportionate amount.

I've seen a lot of F430's in black, dunno why I just have.

If you're even asking what color... you must doubt red. So we'll leave that there. Tho red re-sells the best. Every dealer said that down to the last man.

My favorite color at the moment is the TDF blue and if you go with a stripe it HAS to be white.

However the interior color plays a HUGE part. There is a 360 right now I'm REALLY thinking of getting. It has everything I want but the interior color is the lowest on my choice ladder. Because it's the color I see the most when I drive it, it's pretty damn important.

    IMHO These are classics.

    Black/Black
    Black/Red
    Black/Tan

    ---------

    Red/Tan
    Red/Black

    ---------

    Yellow/Black

    -----------

    Blue/Bone

    ---------

    Silver/Black

    ---------

    Titanium/Red

    -------------

Don't order a white car! You'll regret it. Refrigerators don't have wheels.

    ----------

    nuff said.

Forgot to say... I'm a designer and have been for 20 years now. We've all seen scary Ferrari's out there. This is a crucial step... REALLY think it through.

I have no clue anymore about what is optional and what is standard!!! As you can see by the option list the carbon wheel is not even shown so I am not sure if it is standard or an option but it is on the build. All I am now is happy I got my LP at MSRP even though I have no freakin idea what that number is.

I thought hard on yellow but I stuck with Rosso because it was the first color I wanted and I need to stick with my gut. No matter what color u choose you always say "damn now that is a real nice color too" when u see something different.

Plus I have a yellow GT2 coming in March so that made it a bit easier to swallow...

Good choice on the Rosso Peter! I had the same dilemma and ended up doing Rosso Corsa with gold stripes and gold wheels to make it a bit more unique. You'll love the car, and as the guys said, if you decide on selling it in the future, it'll be an easy sell.

Congrats, great choice. Are you sure that the delivery will be in April though? All the February dealer allocations that I've seen are for early June delivery.

The April date is probably ex-factory if you're lucky

More interesting is that for many months the speculation was that the car was to be called LP / Light Pista and lo there it is on the order form rather than SCuderia

---I've ordered 997GT2 black and 430 Scudria Schwartz coming in March and May 2008 and I am eagerly waiting to get those.^^

I went to GT2 launching in last Decemder and I've surprised about its low-down good looking front bumper and adjustable carbonfiber Sports Shalensitz and its wider rear stance campared to my GT3RS ..looked like it had an extra wheel spacer on rear wheels made that GT2 look wider and completely filled.

It's really amazing only If you see it, not driving.

Now I'm going to take my CGT to the track carefully to see how it drives and its performance campared to my RS and CS.

Please upload ur New Gt2 photo later when you get your beast^^

Radio is standard too, I told them I do not want it. Made the final changes today...

    - Changed to yellow calipers
    - Added deviated Red stitching
    - Deleted Blue Tooth/Ipod etc.

BTW, what is up with 599's? My brother just bought a brand new 2008 optioned to about $346,000 for 60K over....

Seems like you don't buy and hold so why not get the radio if it is standard? you can always remove it and get the radio delete cover plate. that way you have the radio to reinstall when you sell it. My guess is most people will want the car with the radio.

I will probably delete the radio on my car too. I'm still going with yellow exterior.

On the advice of our dealer we sold our 599 for roughly $110K over msrp back in Nov/Dec. And yes, 599 prices are declining.

In UK spec list, radio and carbon/led steering wheel are options. Codes BLUC and LEDS respectively.

I didn't go for a radio so will need to practice my rapping.
