Monster Garage 308 on Barrett-Jackson

They should take that car and jessie and run them thru a shreder. What a stupid waste of a car.

A sad end to a pretty good car.........be interesting to know why that guy wanted it so badly. I had forgotten they'd cut the front clip for the propane....pretty much quashes the idea of a rebuild, IMO..

Nice items in the trunk, they should have included the Toy Horse that Jesse took a torch to, also.....

I see a propane bottle sticking out of the front fender, I doubt DOT would approved that location except for chassing golf balls on the course, and then there is the multi color paint job.

 

I was hoping nobody would bid on it and they would be stuck with that abomination!

 

Surprised they got what they did for it ($18,500) If I recall from the Monster Garage show, Jessie couldn't get the pasta maker to work, kept breaking down.

 

It'll end up on the wall at planet hollywood at some point. That's all it's good for anyway at this point.

 

Well you know what they say about a fool and their money!

 

Surprised also....Since the Armored Truck only sold for like $6K

There was a whole line of Monster Garage cars there for sale, and they all had one thing in common, the workmanship was horrible.

 

Further proof that the “MMTB syndrome” (More money than brains) is prevalent and rampant throughout America….

 

I was there at Barrett Jackson too and when I saw the car my only thought was "What a waste". I only saw two other Ferraris there, a 355 that wasn't for sale and a 456GT. Anybody know of any others?

 

A 328 was there but they cut to commercial , so we didn't get to see it on TV.

 

And it sold for 70K

 

$77K if you include the bidders premium. I think it had 26K mi. I suspected the front end had been painted since there was not a single mark in the front of the car.
