I'll be there at some point - rude not to since I'm getting their first allocation! Unveiling circa 2pm, you need to RSVP to the guys if you want to go.
I was surprised to get an actual phone call reminder from Mark M., and I've been looking forward to the event for weeks On Saturday the roads will be dry and salt will be washed away http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=184970 I do wonder if dan360's avatar is foreshadowing some new acquisitions ? McLaren and Miura complement the F-supercar fleet very nicely hehe
Well partially, the F1 is a desire, the Miura is a new arrival I've moved on from my "four horsemen" (288,F40,F50,Enzo) plan to a "history of supercars" plan - Miura SV, 288GTO, McF1, Enzo/Enzo replacement. A couple of pics - one from San Diego before the car was shipped east and the other from the Mar-a-lago brunch at Cavallino recently. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry to be off topic but Dan that is a gorgeous Miura! Please bring it to Tutto this year, we need more old school Lambo's!
Is there anyone from NH that wants to caravan down? Ill be leaving from the Salem area. 93 --> 95-->rt 1.
Your blue Espada would make a great photo next to Dans' new Miura Is the "history plan" forcing out the future F50 or the current F40? I forget if you were waiting out the F40 auction price runup now how is it that the F50 is said to be a stressful car to drive compared to even an F40? Is it the open top configuration, no AC, or... ?
The F50 is a super wide car if you've ever been in one. I don't like to necessarily be a follower - I love the F40 and the F50, but having rethought my F50 plan after the deal I had fell through, I pulled the trigger on the Miura. My motivation on road cars has changed following a greater amount of time spend driving the challenge car on track. The Miura and GTO are actually easier to enjoy on the road than an F50 or an F40, and the 430CH can run rings around either the F40 or F50 on a race track. Same in fact with the Enzo, the 430CH is substantially faster on a track than an Enzo. So then you're left with the other aspects of car passion, for me the 2 most beautiful cars ever made are the 288GTO and the Miura. Maybe its just when I grew up, but they are definitive. The F1 is similar - its a true ultimate in a way that a Veyron or Pagani or Konigsegg can never be. I reserve the right to change my mind at a moments notice!
True dat, I have learned to say that to my wife when I talk cars. Congrats and I look forward to seeing them around NE. Andrew
Mark M. called me as well to invite me...even though I am not yet a Ferrari owner, but a prospective one.

It was a nice event, thanks to Dennis, Steve, Jesse, Mark and the rest of the team at FoNE. Good to catch up with a bunch of people there today. Spring can't come soon enough!
Ditto on those sentiments - very good time. It was nice to meet you Dan and see some other folks that I know through Ferrari or work connections.
2nd Dan's comments on a BIG THANK YOU to the FMNE team for being such gracious hosts. Tom, Mike, what a pleasant surprise! Hope to see you soon in future events. Look out for those FCA NE region events: they are lots of fun! Konstantinos
